Adirondack guideboat
|
|
Adirondack guideboats look a bit like canoes wih chairs in them, but they are different. Guideboats have no paddles, instead they are rowed using oars. These boats were used in the Adirondack mountains from the late 1800s through the mid 1900s to take hunters around the mountains in search of game.
